Ayer Alexey Khlopotov comentó el tema en su blog, y de paso le mandó un recado a Andrei Tarasenko. Algunos medios ucranianos habían afirmado que Azerbayán adquiriría T-84M Oplot. En fin, otro contrato para el T-92, creado inicialmente como "tanque de transición". Pocos carros han logrado venderse en tanta cantidad en los últimos años.

Maksim, tu piensa que si el armamento en Azerbayan es ruso - Rusia tendrá mas control sobre Azerbayan que si éste tendría armamento de otro país, por ejemplo Turquia.  Asi que no pierdes nada, si no lo vendes tu - se lo venderá otro.

Azerbayán va a aumentar el presupuesto de defensa en algo más de un 3.15%, por lo que se mantiene el alto nivel. Este país destinará un 17.9% del presupuesto total a defensa. Este año alcanza un 14.7%. Para hacernos una idea, en España es alrededor del 1%. En países como Rusia o EEUU está en torno al 4%.

De todas formas, creo que a la hora de comparar con otros países confundes la relación del presupuesto con el PIB y la proporción del gasto de defensa con los presupuestos generales. En Azerbaijan el presupuesto público rondará un tercio del producto interior bruto al igual que en España.
